The video installation explores two future scenarios described in the 2022 publication Earth for All: A Survival Guide for Our Planet: toolittletoolate and giantleap.

Through overpainting film footage, the artist inserts changes which could occur both locally and globally during this century, depending on the scenario. The work asks subtle questions about what kind of future might await us.

Torn pieces of paper and shards of mirror ultimately break up the dualism of the video and fragment it into space. Individual pieces of the puzzle emerge, suggesting that it is up to us to build our own scenario and shape our own future.
